Recently I had a chance to catch up with a friend of mine who calls himself, “The Gluten-Free Warrior”.
He does this for good reason as he’s solely against ALL and any type of gluten consumption.
He’s so damn passionate about being gluten free I can see the FIRE burn hot in his eyes when he talks about it.
Pretty cool and it gave me chills the first time Peter stood up and talked about his overall mission to fight against gluten.
If you haven’t noticed, just within the last few years the words, “gluten-free” have become a huge buzz word.
Don’t let it fool you…
For instance, Twizzlers are now packaged as “gluten-free”.
Does this make them a healthy food choice now?
It’s important to understand that just because something is now labeled as “gluten-free” doesn’t make it a solid food source.
BUT, Is it worth it to go Gluten-FREE?
I for one have cut out about 95% of my gluten intake from things like grains, sugars, and other processed foods, but I have not cut it out 100% and this truly does make a difference.
After doing this interview with Pete, I’ve had plans to go 100% Gluten Free (still haven’t done so – SORRY Peter) 😉
Anyways, I’ve got a great video to share with you below that has a TON of knowledge packed into it.
Here’s some of the things Peter touches upon…
- How $$$ has impacted the food guide pyramid
- Should you go Paleo and where to start
- Why going gluten FREE is the key to better overall results
- How gluten my be affecting your recovery ability
- How gluten may be keeping you from getting LEANER
- What are some gluten-sensitivity symptoms and how can YOU test for it
- Plus much more!
