Two of my FAVORITE pieces of strength equipment are the sandbag, and the kettlebell.

When combined in the right way, they are LETHAL at getting you results.Screen Shot 2013-08-07 at 2.35.28 PM

For the past few weeks I’ve been using a combination of sandbag training and kettlebells for assistance work as well to finish out my sessions.

While training with these two tools is FUN, it can get BRUTAL, but the more BRUTAL, the better for you right?

It’s all about the intensity baby!

Yesterday to end out my session, I decided to crank out the same “Daily Battle Plan” I had written up for my Forged Beast within my Gym.

If you’re wondering, Daily Battle Plan stands for the conditioning / finisher work we do within our training sessions.

Typically we’ll always start off with some sort of programmed strength and power work, hit a few specific assistance movements, then we get down and dirty with our Daily Battle Plan.

This particular Daily Battle Plan is called “Bag and Bell Hell”.

The names says it all.

Here’s how it’s laid out…

6 Rounds Total (3 rounds per arm)

3 x Sandbag Shouldering

6 x 1 Arm KB Push Press

12 x 1 Arm KB Snatch

***SCORE = Total WORK Time Done

***Rest 30-45 secs between switching arms

Trust me, it’s a whole lot tougher then it looks on paper.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Live and Train Aggressive!

This is packed with the very same workouts I did back when I didn’t have a gym and trained in local parks and playground.
