This last weekend I had the privileged of joining up with a ton of other passionate fitness pro’s at Bedros Keuilian’s Fitness Business Summit.

For the past 3 years or so I’ve been relentlessly investing $$$ into seminars and summits such as this one to better my craft and improve my business.

One of the greatest things about going to events like this is the relationships you build with other like-minded people.  It goes way beyond all the different and powerful education you get.

While at FBS 12, I couldn’t but help myself when I saw that TRX had set up shop and was having their 40/40 Challenge…

If you don’t know what the 40/40 challenge is, you’ll want to watch the video I posted below.

Now, before I get into that, I need to tell you about a gal I met a while back that is an absolute BEAST when it comes to training.  In fact, she’s so strong it’d be safe to say that she could probably whoop a lot of guys I know when it comes to blasting out push ups and pull ups.

I believe she beat Craig Ballantyne in a pull up contest a while back when a bunch of us were in San Diego. I was a bit upset I wasn’t there to witness it.

Anyhow, this chick it tough and I give her the 110% H.A.M. stamp of approval!

Her name is Shawn Kaminski.

I bumped into Shawna while at FBS and since both of us enjoy challenging workouts so much, we thought it would be badass to have a little head-to-head throwdown on the 40/40 challenge.

She beat me in the atomic push ups but that is only because she cheated…

See what I mean?  She totally cheated!  I was planning on hitting a 50/50, but as you can see they told me to stop after I hit 40… LOL!

Ah great times!

Anyhow, I thought I would let you know that Shawna has a kickass program that helps people improve their pull ups and push ups in a challenging kind of way.  I think it’s safe to say that it’s been proven to work as she has shown by what she’s capable of doing.

There were ZERO other girls able to complete this challenge and there was only two other guys other then me that were able to complete the whole 40/40 challenge out of the 400+ fitness pro’s that were there!

NOT GOOD!  This tells me that we need a greater amount of stronger people walking around!

I think it should be a REQUIREMENT as a coach or “fitness professional” that you’re able to complete the 40/40 challenge.

What do you think?

I say, Practice what you preach!

Shawna is one of the best at doing just that and she has a program to prove it.

Can you BEAT Shawna in push ups and pull ups?  How about in the 40/40 challenge?  She got 45 atomic push ups and 40 rows…

challenge workoutsNot too shabby…  Could be better!
