Been hitting these quick “daily
250” routines EVERY DAY since the start of the year and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
⠀
It’s simple…
⠀
Hit a combined total of 250 reps.
⠀
Could be of one movement.
⠀
A combination of a few.
⠀
Of a mix-mash of many.
⠀
This one BURNED.
⠀
I usually hit these first thing in the AM to get my blood flowing and my mind right.
⠀
There’s been a number of days where I didn’t “feel like it” but I DID IT anyways.
⠀
First, because I made a COMMITMENT to getting them done daily and second, because of the first reason!!!
⠀
It’s about being a man of your word and following through.
⠀
Forget about skipping out…
⠀
No back stepping!
⠀
Only forward and through anything that steps in the way.
⠀
The days you push through are the BEST.
⠀
Because there’s nothing better that’ll get you into the right state of mind than MOVING YOUR BODY.
⠀
Not every day needs to be full blown pedal to the metal beat down.
⠀
Most of these #daily250 routines are focused on getting my body loose and working in some extra volume on the BASIC MOVEMENTS such as push ups, squats, lunges, burpees, pull ups, KB swings, etc…
⠀
And it’s been FUN creating these overtime as it challenges me to come up with elegant set ups that mix in and mesh with my main programming.
⠀
These might seem random, but there’s actually a method the madness behind each routine.
⠀
But the PURPOSE is clear…
⠀
Remain COMMITTED.
⠀
Do the work.
⠀
EARN IT.
⠀

His Back Was BROKEN… ⠀ It’s been nearly 2 ye His Back Was BROKEN…
⠀
It’s been nearly 2 years since Christian was completely out of commission due to a serious back injury.
⠀
As a result, he fell into a bit of a depression while also falling way out of shape.
⠀
He put on unwanted weight and the extra body fat started to pack on.
⠀
For the first time in his life, he lost a lot of confidence in himself and his physique.
⠀
Just didn’t feel like himself.
⠀
BUT… Christian being the man he is wasn’t going to let any of this keep him down for long.
⠀
When I first started working with Christian, the first part of our plan was to hit on all of the LOWEST HANGING FRUIT…
⠀
1 - Optimized MOVEMENT - 10-15k steps daily outside of PT sessions + lots of bodyweight training
⠀
2 - Optimized SLEEP (as best we could with young kids at home)
⠀
3 - Optimized FUEL (upped protein, cleaned up food choices, and actually increased his calorie intake to spark metabolism)
⠀
4 - Optimized HYDRATION - cut out soda, eliminated alcohol intake (except during special events & holidays)
⠀
5 - Optimized FOCUS - put all of our attention towards the things we COULD CONTROL and not on what we couldn’t (this is critical when injured)
⠀
Training heavy and intense was hard to give up, but was absolutely necessary during the recovery process.
⠀
A big mistake too many men make is trying to come back too soon, which often times leads to getting re-injured all over again.
⠀
Our plan was to come back STRONGER, LEANER, BETTER and more UNBREAKABLE.
⠀
And that’s what we’ve done!
⠀
Fast forward to today, Christian is in the BEST shape of his life.
⠀
Even better, he’s hit LIFETIME PR’s in his big lifts (despite Dr’s telling him he wouldn’t be able to train heavy again).
⠀
Now, he looks good, feels good, and he’s got his swagger back. 😎
⠀
It’s been a long journey, but it’s been worth every bit and we’re only just getting started!
⠀
Bloodied but unbowed…
⠀
Down but NEVER OUT!
⠀
DOABLE for any man who’s willing to COMMIT to a PROVEN PROCESS.

Worst thing a man can do is refuse to take action because he’s too comfortable, afraid to fail, has doubts, or doesn’t want to be judged.
