There’s a system I like to use when creating some of my complexes.

This particular one is The “.45 Complex” Method.

I take 3 movements and combine them into a complex chain that will have me complete a total of 45 reps for each movement when all said and done.

Hence the name 🙂

The rep scheme is always layered as such:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – Movement 1
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – Movement 2
5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – Movement 3

It makes things fun and challenging, especially when you find a solid flow of movements to string together.

For this setup, I used a SLOW Push Up with a Double Clean into a Double Front Rack Squat.

Give it a try and let me know what you think.
